Straight answers about range lead reclamation from American Reclamation, a veteran-owned company based in Lebanon, Tennessee.

What is American Reclamation?

American Reclamation is a veteran-owned shooting range lead reclamation company based in Lebanon, Tennessee. We recover spent lead, lead fines and brass from indoor and outdoor ranges, restore rubber berms and traps, and purchase loaded HEPA filters. The legal company name is All American Reclamation Services, LLC.

Where do you work?

We are based in Lebanon, Tennessee, and work with ranges across the country, indoor and outdoor.

Who owns the company?

Joshua Haney, owner and operator. He served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman and combat instructor before starting American Reclamation.

What does a cleaning cost?

Your first reclamation cleaning has no cleaning or service charge. We recover the lead, weigh it and document it, and you are paid for the recovered metal. After that, we use what actually came out to set a practical maintenance schedule, designed so the value of the recovered lead can offset or cover future cleanings. Scope, schedule and payment are agreed before we show up.

How long does it take?

About 10 lanes per day, fines included. A 20-lane range is usually two days on site, depending on the condition of the berm.

Do we have to close?

No. We service one bay at a time so you stay open, and we can work around your operating hours.

What are lead fines and why do they matter?

Fines are the powder and grit left from spent bullets. They pack your berm media tight, dirty your air and pull your next cleaning closer. Most cleanouts leave them behind. We recover them.

How do we know how much lead came out?

Everything goes on the scale, and you are welcome to watch every pound get weighed. You get photos, weight tickets and one statement showing the metal, the weights and the freight.

Do you handle brass?

Yes. Brass is sorted, processed and paid on its own line of your statement.

Do you buy used HEPA filters?

Yes. We purchase loaded HEPA filters from range ventilation systems.
